Igorrr, France's sensational electronic artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Brighton Music Hall!

Igorrr is the musical project of multi instrumentalist and producer Gautier Serre. Born in Rennes (France) in 1984, he began his musical by journey by listening to bands and artists such as Domenico Scarlatti, Cannibal Corpse, Chopin, Meshuggah, Jean-Sebastien Bach, Aphex Twin, Taraf de Haidouks, and Jean-Philippe Ramea. He went on to create a musical style that, while broadly classified as electronic, also includes elements of black metal (an extreme sub genre and subculture of heavy metal music, featuring fast tempos, a shrieking vocal style, heavily distorted guitars played with tremolo picking, raw/lo fi recording, and unconventional song structures), breakcore (a style of electronic dance music - influenced by hardcore, jungle, digital hardcore and industrial music - defined by its use of heavy kick drums, breaks and a wide palette of sampling sources, played at high tempos), trip hop (a sub genre of electronic music that originated in the early 1990s in the United Kingdom, as an experimental variant of breakbeat), and death metal. He's had a stellar career with 3 studio albums and he's collaborated with many renowned artists such as Laure Le Prunenec, Teloch, Bong-Ra, and Ruby My Dear.
