Jason Richardson, Virginia’s sensational metal artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Brighton Music Hall!

Jason Richardson was born in Manassas (Virginia) in 1991 and is a guitarist renowned for his extremely fast and technical playing technique. His musical style is best described as a blend of progressive metal (a fusion of heavy metal and progressive rock which combines the loud aggression and amplified guitar driven sound of the former with the more experimental compositions of the latter), deathcore (an extreme metal fusion genre that combines the characteristics of death metal and metalcore and sometimes hardcore punk), djent (a style of progressive metal named for an onomatopoeia for the distinctive high gain, distorted, palm muted, low pitch guitar sound first employed by bands Meshuggah and SikTh), and metalcore (a broad fusion genre of extreme metal and hardcore punk, noted for its use of breakdowns, which are slow, intense passages that are conducive to moshing). He’s the former guitarist of deathcore bands of All Shall Perish, Born of Osiris, and Chelsea Grin. He began his solo career in 2016 with the release of his debut studio album (titled I) in 2016 and it featured drummer Luke Holland (of metalcore band The Word Alive) and bassist Danny Hauser (of deathcore band Veil of Maya).

Don’t miss your chance to see this artist add a unique touch to deathcore, djent, metalcore, and progressive metal!
