Swervedriver, England's sensational indie rock artist are bringing their signature sounds to the Brighton Music Hall!

The band was formed in Oxford (England) in 1990 by vocalists/guitarists Adam Franklin and Jimmy Hartridge, bassist Adi Vines, and drummer Graham Bonner. The band's been through many line up changes over the years and it currently consists of Adam (vocals, rhythm and lead guitar), Jimmy (lead guitar), Steve George (bass), and Mikey Jones (drums and percussion). Their musical style is best described as a blend of indie rock (a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United States and the United Kingdom in the 1980s, encapsulating the genres chamber pop, indie pop, lo fi, math rock, neo psychedelia, post punk revival, sadcore, and shoegaze), shoegaze (a subgenre of indie rock and neo psychedelia, characterized by the blurring of component musical parts—typically significant guitar distortion, feedback and obscured vocals—into indistinguishable mixtures of sound), and dream pop (a subgenre of alternative rock and neo psychedelia characterized by breathy vocals, introspective or existential lyrics, and a focus on textures and moods rather than propulsive rock riffs). They've had a stellar career with 4 studio albums, 1 compilation album, 1 video album, and 18 singles. The band split up in 1998 but got back together in 2008.

Don't miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to indie rock, shoegaze, and dream pop music!
