Sensational indie rock and funk artists The London Souls and Con Brio are bringing their signature sounds to the Brighton Music Hall!
The London Souls was formed in New York City in 2008 by Tash Neal (guitar and vocals) and Chris St. Hilaire (drums and vocals). They first met when they were teenagers and bonded over their passion for songwriting and musical improvisation. It wasn’t long before they were booking rehearsal rooms for their jam sessions and practicing harder than anyone else around. Their musical style is best described as a blend of indie rock (a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United States and the United Kingdom in the 1980s, encapsulating the genres chamber pop, indie pop, lo fi, math rock, neo psychedelia, post punk revival, sadcore, and shoegaze) and neo psychedelia (a diverse style of music - originating in the 1970s as an outgrowth of the British post punk scene – that borrowed a variety of elements from 1960s psychedelic music and emphasized the cryptic margins of avant-rock, incorporating evanescent textures over an immutable bassline, producing a heavy metallic ambience). They’ve had a stellar career with 3 studio albums and their music has been featured on FOX TV's show Fearless Music and on the Adidas commercial for NBA star Derrick Rose's line of shoes
Don't miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to indie rock and neo psychedelia!
