The Mowgli's, California's sensational indie rock artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Brighton Music Hall!
The Mowgli's was formed in Calabasas (California) in 2010 by singer/songwriter Colin Dieden, David Applebaum, Spencer Trent, Matt Di Panni, Josh Hogan, Andy Warren, Katie Earl, and Michael Vincze. They honed their craft over the next 2 years and self-released their debut studio album (Sound the Drum) in May 2012. It wasn't long before they got a record deal and they released their debut extended play (Love's Not Dead) in October of the same year. Their musical style is best described as a blend of indie rock (a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United States and the United Kingdom in the 1980s, encapsulating the genres chamber pop, indie pop, lo fi, math rock, neo psychedelia, post punk revival, sadcore, and shoegaze) and indie pop (a subgenre of alternative/indie rock originating in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s and differing from indie rock to the extent that it’s more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst free). They went on to have a stellar career with 3 more studio albums and they've performed at many major music events such as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits. The band currently consists of Colin, Katie, David, Josh, Andy, and Matthew Di Panni.
