Xavier Omar, Texas' sensational R&B artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Brighton Music Hall!

Xavier Omar (also known as SPZRKT and Xavier Adams) was born in San Antonio (Texas) in 1990 and is a singer, songwriter, and producer. He began his musical journey by singing in a church choir. He taught himself to play the drums (by watching and imitating his brother) and it wasn't long before he became the drummer for his church. His musical style is best described as contemporary R&B; a genre that combines elements of rhythm and blues (a genre of African-American music - originating in the 1940s - with a soulful vocal style featuring much improvisation and lyrical themes that often encapsulate the African-American experience of pain and the quest for freedom and joy), soul, funk, pop, hip hop, and dance. He's known for traveling with a WWE Intercontinental Championship belt. He said in an interview, "When the WWE trusts you to be a star, usually you get this belt first. All the really big stars have held this and then they became the big champion later, the world champion. That's a representation of where I feel I'm at in my life and my career. I'm great right now, but I'm going to be greater." He's released 1 extended play.

Don't miss your chance to see the artist who records predominantly mellow R&B inspired by John Legend and Frank Ocean!
